1. What’s your wax made of?

Our wax is made from a renewably sourced blend of Kosher-certified soy and coconut, coated in IFRA- and European-approved aromatic oils.
2. Why wooden wicks?

Great question! Here’s  why wooden wicks are the most sustainable choice: 

  • High yield-to-harvest ratio, which promotes the maintenance and preservation of forests
  • Slower and cleaner burn than traditional wicks, so the wax heats evenly in every candle
  • Relaxing, crackling sounds provide the sensation of a wood-burning fireplace
3. Are your fragrances safe and free of irritants

We take the safety and well-being of everyone very seriously, which is why we ensure that our fragrances adhere to the highest standards set by the IFRA, as well as its rules in the manufacturing process. Not only do we avoid using any potentially harmful ingredients to health, but we also take the same care in selecting all materials to minimize their impact on the environment.
4. Is the production of MeaQuasar candles environmentally conscious?

Absolutely! Our candles are: 

  • Natural, non-toxic, and good for the environment
  • Long-burning with a lower melting point
  • Hand-poured and handcrafted locally in Portugal
  • Minimal carbon-producing
  • Made from renewable and recyclable materials
5. Is the metal tin reusable?

Definitely! To reuse the metal container, simply burn down the candle. And be sure to clean the tin well with water and a moist cloth.
6. Does MeaQuasar have a storefront brick-and-mortar store?

We get it – we would love to see you in person too! :) However, at this time, we are located online only.

1. My candle/other items are missing from my order! What can you do?

Sorry about that! We always do our best to ensure your order is correct, and we’re committed to resolving any issues promptly.

If you’re missing items in your order, please reach out to us via whatsapp or email within 48 hours so we can address the issue as swiftly as possible.
About Candle Maintenance
1. What’s the best way to store my MeaQuasar candle?

For best results, store your candle at room temperature. Since our candles are made without preservatives, they don’t hold up well in heat and humidity. But rest assured –  we always take care when packaging your candle to ensure it arrives in prime condition!
2. What’s the best way to clean a wax spill?

Though wax spills can cause a sticky situation, they’re pretty easy to clean up! To clean a wax spill, just use a mild soap with warm water.
